They’re back filming Season Four of in Richmond right now - not even that far away from where I'm living following my own transatlantic move from Los Angeles to London. 2026 is when we’re likely to be seeing the show, so we’re just going to have to amuse ourselves until then.
As predicted by yours truly, though I don’t like to brag, Ted will be coaching a second division women’s football team. Oh come on, the clue was right there at the end of the last season. There’s also so much to be said about women’s soccer, the sport that was once banned, regarded as an underdog but now triumphing, particularly following England’s Lionesses win at the 2025 Euros. If we know anything about Lasso fans, it’s that we love an underdog story.

Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Jeremy Swift, and Brendan Hunt will all be there, plus a few new faces, including one recast. Grant Feely will step in as Ted’s son, Henry, a role played previously by Gus Turner. Well, if kid’s insist on growing up, what’s anyone to do?
The cast are thrilled to be back. “It feels like it was the most beautiful, beloved dog that was buried, and now we’ve exhumed it,” Hannah Waddingham told reporters. “I was hankering to see where Rebecca had gone. She’s my girl. She’s in my bloodstream, so I’m thrilled that it’s been exhumed.”

While we wait for the new season, I am sharing this fun video, shot for Elle magazine which has the cast members testing each other’s knowledge of the show. (Hope the link works). https://www.elle.com/uk/life-and-culture/culture/a65485660/ted-lassor-season-4-news-cast-date-spoilers/
